# SkyPulse communication hub

The SkyPulse communication hub is a small and reliable 4-Port ethernet switch combined with a fiber optic media converter for 10/100mb data rates.

### Key features

The communication hub was designed and built for use in robotics and drones, and features 4 Ethernet 10/100 ports, an onboard voltage regulator capable of up to 36v so you can hook up the hub directly to your main voltage. \
In addition to that, there is an optional SFP cage for fiber media converters, an additional ethernet port and more.

This module (like all other modules in the SkyPulse ecosystem) was designed with reliability in mind, from locking connectors to withstand vibrations, soldered standoffs to enhance mechanical rigidity and more.

* **Standard 30.5x30.5mm mounting**, compatible with common mounting patterns on drones and robots
* **Locking connectors** for enhanced reliability in high vibration environments
* Extremely low weight of **30g**
* **6-36v** voltage input (up to 6s unfiltered, 8s setups will require a protection diode)
* **4 Ethernet ports** capable of **10/100Mb**
* **Optional SFP cage** for fiber optic modules (useful for passing telemetry and video over fiber optic)
* **100% NDAA-Compliant** production
* **Plug\&Play integration**, no configuration or setup required
* **Activity LEDs** for each ethernet port (can be turned off via the DIP switch on the board)
