# Wasp 10' Quad platform

The Wasp is a 10' quadcopter platform based on the SkyPulse Ecosystem. \
It runs on Ardupilot / PX4 (running on the Helios FMU), paired with the SkyNav GNSS module, and includes a MicroHard 2.4GHz communication module.

We made this drone in order to make it easy to evaluate the Helios ecosystem without dealing with the hassle of assembly, calibration and testing.

Everything is pre-configured and tuned, so you can get it up in the air in less than 15 minutes.

Follow the [connection guide](/documentation/software-and-getting-started/wasp-10-drone.md) for more info and initial setup of the drone.

The drone comes pre-installed with a custom image of Debian Bookworm, including useful packages such as pymavlink, mavproxy, gstreamer and more, so you can easily implement your own software.

By default, the drone doesn't come with any code (in order to make it easy to implement your own code), but since it comes with all of the packages required for streaming pre-installed, you can setup video streaming by following the [streaming guide](/documentation/software-and-getting-started/basic-streaming-guide.md).
